William is FOUR!

Today is William's 4th birthday. He was so excited this morning to finally get the garbage truck he's been wanting. The video ends just before he says..."it's a dream come true!" Uncle Paul came over for breakfast and spoiled William rotten, of course. Next we went to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. William found an airplane he wanted in the gift shop and then we were hard pressed to get him to walk around the museum! After that, Granny and Grandpa came over to do a little more spoiling. We now have so much Thomas stuff we need another train table. Well, William just loves all his presents. Daddy got him a hotwheels race track and they spent the afternoon playing with it happily. It was a great day that William didn't want to end.

William's 4th Birthday Party

William had a blast at his 4th birthday party today. He had several of his classmates from Preschool and of course, his buddies Christian and Reid Crowell. We had about 13 children at the house for a splash party. William and most of the boys decided they didn't want to get wet so they played in the den. The girls and Christian really enjoyed splashing around. They even got some of the moms wet. Thanks to everyone who came. The theme was John Deere tractors. Unfortunately, they don't make tractor cakes or tractor pull string pintas. William chose a swimming pool cupcake cake and a racecar pinta. I think it was only Mommy who wanted everything to match!

Fun after the rain

We had a good rain storm come through this morning leaving some puddles behind. William loves to splash in them. He gets thoroughly wet and loves every minute of it. And yes, you can hear Karen screaming on her monitor because she didn't want to take a nap. (We did go check on her.)

Karen is WALKING!!

The top video is Karen walking for the first time on June 8th. She was so excited and so were we. The bottom video was taken 3 days later on the 11th. She learned very quickly and hasn't stopped since. She tries very hard to keep up with William. I'm sure it won't be long until she's running around too!
